A man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after suffering an episode along The Plains in Totnes.

Ambulance services called police for assistance at around 2.20pm on Wednesday, October 14.

Police cordoned off part of the area at the bottom of Fore Street.

The area has since reopened.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the man's next of kin have been informed.
