GILBERT and Sullivan is coming to Rattery thanks to Brent Singers, who are to perform HMS Pinafore in the village hall.
The singers, conducted by musical director Philip Arkwright, will take the stage at 7pm on Saturday, July 9.
Choir members will make up most of the soloists, although Ralph will be sung by Alexander Gordon, a student at Exeter University. Exeter Cathedral’s organist David Davis will play the piano.
The audience is invited to bring picnic suppers and drinks for the hour-long interval. All tickets must be bought in advance, and are available from choir members, or Jill Barber on 01752 892703.
