Members of the Brent Island Tust braved the drizzly elements to run their traditional Christmas stall.
This was held in the centre of the village of South Brent and went on to raise almost £350 towards the charity’s work.
This year was the first time the South Brent hardy helpers were protected from the weather under a gazebo provided by the village shop.
Carol singers were in good voice and went on to raise £82 in their collecting tin, while the tombola raised £140.48.
Another £76.30 came from the cake and table top sale. A £50 donation topped up the fundraising.
