Gill Perkins, of Kiln Lane, Stokenham, writes:
I was walking through Stokenham churchyard recently and found that somebody had picked up their dog’s mess, carefully tied up the bag and then dumped the bag at the side of the path.
Could this person please advise me, via this letters page, their thinking behind this?
Did they expect it to disappear magically, or that some mug – ie me – would put it in a nearby bin.
As a dog owner I am mystified as to the reasoning behind this action, which seems to be happening a lot. It gives all dog owners a bad name, and I would hate for us to be banned from certain places because of this attitude.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
