CHILDREN from Erme Primary School in Ivybridge received a visit from Really Wild Enterprises recently.

Really Wild Enterprises is a Devon-based company who provide interactive educational experiences to school children.

Neil Vaughan, from the company brought along some unusual creatures, and aimed to dispel preconceived prejudices towards species, such as snakes, spiders and cockroaches.

Ros Car from Erme Primary School said: ‘The children were treated to an entertaining and very informative morning!

‘The event proved to be a fabulous introduction to our new topic and it gave the children lots to think and talk about.

‘The event would not have been possible without the support of Kay Transport, so the children and adults of Meadowsfoot class would like to say a huge thank you for their very generous sponsorship of the event.’
