The Met Office has warned floods could be likely across parts of the South West as a result of heavy rainfall.
Large gales are also predicted as Storm Barbara hits the South of England on Wednesday, October 21.
A yellow weather warning was put in place yesterday for most of the South of England.
The volume of rain may cause disruption to travel, according to the Met Office.
The worst of the storm is predicted to have cleared by the evening.
