ONLY 12 out of 72 parish and town council elections in the South Hams will be contested in May.
Councils from Blackawton, Dartmouth Clifton, Dartmouth Townstall, Frogmore, Holbeton, Ivybridge East, Modbury, North Huish, Ringmore, Slapton, Staverton and Totnes Bridgetown will be elected on May 7; the others are under-
subscribed and nominees will automatically be taken onto the council.
Nominees for Blackawton's seven seats are: Ruth Coe, John Donaldson, Joyce Lorien, Samantha Lewis-Davis, Alan Mallyon, Jack Perry, Simon Rake, Chris Wills, Stanley Wreyford.
Dartmouth's 10 Clifton seats: Paul Allen, Les Barnes, David John Cawley, Gina Coles, Richard Cooke, Tessa De Galleani, Tony Fyson, David Gent, Brian Harriss, Michael Lyon, Richard Rendle, Sue Thompson.
Dartmouth's six Townstal seats: Maggie Baillie, Roger Chilcott, Francis Hawke, Fred Pritchard, Iris Pritchard, Steve Smith, Robin Springett.
Frogmore's five seats: Victoria Camp, Gary Elliott, Peter Hadley, Paul Harding, John Horsley, Felicity Perraton.
Holbeton's 10 seats: Carol Ackroyd, Harry Baumer, Tim Craig, Christopher Flower, Julie Fuller, Peter Hearn, Andrew Hollett, Debbie Knight, Hazel Marshall, Jim Pengelly, Michael Reece, John Sherrell.
