JEREMY BROWN, of Church Lane, West Charleton, Kingsbridge, writes:
My wife and I were very disappointed with the outcome of the EU Referendum. We both felt that the route taken by the slim majority was absolute folly.
A sensible, caring, intelligent Prime Minister could now be replaced. So-called facts and figures have been endlessly manipulated and a gullible majority has been taken in by the lies and distortions.
The next few months are likely to be chaotic and, importantly, could lose us many friends in Europe. Europe is a big family that needs to stick together in an increasingly uncertain world.
Alongside our European friends we would have been better placed to face a future that is suddenly rather more bleak, in our view.
