I would appreciate knowing why Devon County Council has decided to replace dozens of traffic lights with new ones before tackling the poor state of our roads, which are in desperate need of urgent attention.
Pot-holes are so bad they are likely to cause a major road accident.
The road between West Alvington and Kingsbridge is deteriorating daily and is used by many parents taking children to and from school.
A large portion of the road between Totnes and Kingsbridge is nothing short of what you would see in a third world country.
I expect this is a case of “we have a budget for new lights, so that is what we will have” with no regard for priorities.
