On bank holiday Monday the Rongeo Cup was played, in a format with two scores to count from three players. Each team consisted of one lady and two men.

First Sue Ansley, Ian Bentley, Gary Parker with 91 points; second Natalie Parnell, Lee Parnell, Rich Ogle 87 points; and third Alison Dunkley, Paul Dunkley, Brian Main 85 points

There were 7 twos, winning five balls each, by Greg Gould, Alex Pitcher, Sean Chalcraft, Peter Newman, Mike Daniels, Richard Allen and Rich Ogle

On Saturday a fun team Texas Scramble was played 60 members took part all members enjoyed a bacon bap before taking to the course.

First, Neil Ryder, Lee Mundell, Pete Blackler, Tim Dando gross 57, net 55.1; second, Jake Eastley, Sean Biddiss, Luke Vinecombe, Lee Whinnett gross 61, net 55.5; third, Tim Nand-Lal, John Squibb, Ian Bentley, Tim Woodward gross 62, net 57.

There were 20 team twos, and Jake Eastley nearly had a hole-in-one on the first hole, which is a par four!
